Challenge
Create (redesign) a web presence for a finance and accounting recruitment company based in Orange County, California. The site needs to have interactive qualities to attract and sustain visitors as well as influence them to navigate within the site. The site needs to house a large amount of content in an organized structure and be easily updateable.
Tactics
Noble Studios’ initiative in 2008 is to produce award winning work. This project was one of the first projects developed and launched under these core values. Our first tactics were to gray screen the layout and developing a sound navigation. Developing three individual designs for three separate target audience locations within the site. Alliance Resource Group is a parent company to two key divisions of the employment recruiting process: Alliance Search Group is a finance and accounting fulltime staffing company, and Alliance Interim Solutions is a project based finance and accounting staffing company. Open Source software Expression Engine was used as CMS platform. Weekly meetings and project status reports were used to ensure a timely project execution and that all deliverables were met.
Results
The website was successfully launched eight weeks from the project sign-off. Our launch date was May 2, 2008. We are currently waiting to hear back from several awards committees on its nomination status and have seen a steady increase of visitor time spent on the site. The average web visits has jumped from 26 to 70 unique visitors each day. All portions of the site are updateable through the content manage system. Now in-house staff can virtually update all site content from an easy-to-use online platform without having previous HTML experience.
