Challenge
Create a web presence for a large corporation and its subsidiary companies (seven websites total) that can be updated in one location by individuals with no prior html knowledge. To start this project the vendor needs to understand the company and its subsidiaries processes and purpose. The main headquarters is in Las Vegas and several of the subsidiary companies are located in California. It is important to establish an online brand that has a cohesive look and feel among all companies, yet gives them room to support their individuality.
Tactics
- Access the core competencies of the company and its subsidiary companies.
- Research competitors and client demographics.
- Create a custom content management system that could handle both image and content changes for all seven websites and future websites.
- Newsletter handler for company updates and events was implemented into the universal content management system.
- All websites tie into company .NET solution.
Results
All websites were launched within five months of project start and are now updateable by in-house staff from one online location. The newsletter software now plays an active role in keeping staff, clients, and prospective clients with updated with information about the company, industry, and upcoming events. Website traffic has increased more than 300% for all sites launched. Since project completion, Noble Studios has continued producing further collateral materials, event materials, advertisements, and presentation pieces for the company and its subsidiaries.
