Noble Studios’ executive team announces the hire of Lorna Shepard as strategic planning director. Shepard will lead the think approach of Noble Studios’ digital marketing process. In her position, she will help senior leaders identify market opportunities and formulate best operational practices.
Throughout Shepard’s career, she has developed personas and conducted user experience research for national brands, including Janus, Clorox, Wells Fargo, Oscar Mayer, and Sears, to name a few.
Previously, Shepard owned and operated Red Dog Consulting, a boutique strategic planning firm. As owner, she specialized in brand discovery, market research, and strategic planning. Some of her largest clients included Allegiant Airlines, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, Boys & Girls Club, City of Reno, Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, Microsoft Licensing, and Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority.
Prior to that, Shepard was the vice president of account planning for the Rose/Glenn Group in Reno, Nev., where she oversaw new business development and lead strategic planning for all clients. She began her foundation in advertising with Ogilvy & Mather in Chicago, and then joined J. Walter Thompson (JWT) Chicago before moving to San Francisco to work for Foote, Cone & Belding.
Shepard earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Shepard sits on advisory boards for the MBA program at Morrison University and the business degree program at Truckee Meadows Community College.
