I do a little bit of everything in the developer realm. I have developed ExpressionEngine modules, ExpressionEngine websites, WordPress websites with custom themes, Facebook applications, and highly interactive jQuery front-ends.

My last noble deed was...

I spent 2,600+ hours as an AmeriCorps volunteer with the Nevada Conservation Corps. I learned how to fell trees, build trails, and live outside. The experience was one of the most rewarding times of my life.

What advice would you give your past self?

All I would say is, “Don’t worry about it, dude.”

I’m a developer because some of my earliest memories feature the use of a Commodore 64.

Favorite place to sit back and relax

I really like Death Valley a lot. It is very peaceful and there are plenty of oddities to observe. There is a river that flows above and below ground, a species of fish that is isolated to one single pool of water, epic sand dunes, and mysterious rocks that seemingly move by themselves. I’d really like to go back there. It is like a parallel world unlike any place I’ve ever been.
