Noble Crew Goes GlamourACE

Some of the Noble crew was spotted schmoozing at the AMA’s GlamourACE awards this past month to receive a couple awards. Noble Studios won an Award of Excellence for NevadaMagazine.com in the Web Marketing Campaign Category. We won an Award of Excellence for NCET’s Entrepreneur Expo in the Non-Profit Marketing Campaign Category and also won Silver Communicator Awards for Holland Project and Nevada Magazine!

The Noble Wild

The Noble Studios Crew left all technology behind and took a retreat. Without phone service, WiFi, and modern conveniences (flashlights, vehicles, and gas grill excluded), we set out to bond with Mother Nature and rely on our instinct for communication. Bear River Lake (Don’t worry. Though the name suggests, there was no fear of bear attacks), located near Kirkwood Ski Resort in California, was our destination. We laughed, we laughed harder, we attempted to make fire (survival style), and we ate (a ton of tasty treats). Check out our good times.

Noble Retains Inyo County as Web Client

This month, Noble Studios retained Inyo County as a web client. Inyo County is located in east-central California, toward the east side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and is best known for:

• Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the lower 48 states
• Death Valley, the lowest point in the United States
• A Great Basin Bristlecone Pine tree named Methuselah, which is one of the oldest known living organisms on earth (aged at about 4,839 years old…and counting)

National Headliner Award

Nevada Magazine was awarded first place in the prestigious 2008 National Headliner Awards for its Web site (designed by Noble Studios), NevadaMagazine.com. The site beat out CNN.Money.com and Newsweek.com in the “Magazine Affiliated Online Journalism” division and will be honored May 17 in Atlantic City. Other media companies recognized include ESPN, National Public Radio, and The Boston Globe. 

We’re Back!

We had a blast in Europe and are ready to take 2008 by storm. After a few days of workshops and internal focus, the Noble Studios crew took in some outstanding sites. Here are some photos from our trip.

The Noble crew returns to Europe! We are preparing to take a step back, seek potential areas of improvement, and make plans to implement the solutions we discover during our tour. We will be gone February 27th to March 5th. Stay tuned for next month’s newsletter when we will be posting photos from our journey!

Noble’s own business director Jarrod Lopiccolo will be speaking at Nevada’s only Entrepreneur Expo on March 15, 2008. His presentation will be on Good to Great: The Foundation for a Successful Website.
