Noble Studios is a creative digital performance marketing agency seeking a Vice President of Strategy & Insights who is excited to participate in an integrated team environment where creativity and performance intersect.  Our VP of Strategy & Insights develops and guides brand and integrated marketing strategies for clients, working with our new business team on pitches and proposals.  This position is part of our agency leadership team, which guides the overall strategic direction of the agency. 

Noble's VP of Strategy & Insights can work under the direction of our Chief Creative Officer in either our Reno or Las Vegas offices, and (for the right candidate) may also be remote.  The successful candidate will bring a level of marketing agency-based expertise and experience that will help Noble continue shaping and evolving leading-edge strategic creative digital performance solutions. Primary Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy 
    • Overall, work with the Chief Creative Officer to develop distinct brand strategies for clients.
    • Lead client discoveries to gather internal, customer and competitive information.
    • Create and lead client brand workshops.
    • Deploy client questionnaires and conduct interviews.
    • Perform secondary customer and competitor research.
    • Lead primary research with support of research partners.
    • Synthesize and present discovery information and insights.
    • Lead the creation of brand platform development.
    • Help guide brand hierarchy and naming exercises.
    • Help develop brand identity and creative briefs.
    • Support creative team with continued input and consulting during development.
    • Manage and grow our Brand Strategy subcontractor and vendor relationships.
  • Integrated Marketing Strategy
    • Work with the Client Services team to help clients create integrated marketing plans and strategies.
    • Lead client discoveries to gather internal, customer and competitive information.
    • Perform secondary customer and competitor research.
    • Lead primary research with support of research partners.
    • Work with Noble’s various departments to collaborate on and create integrated marketing strategies.
    • Work with Noble’s various departments to lead customer journey mapping exercises.
    • Work with Noble’s various departments to lead messaging matrixes development.
  • New Business Initiatives
    • Create compelling strategies in collaboration with the Noble New Business Team  when pitching brand and integrated marketing strategy business.
  • Leadership
    • Join the Noble Studios Leadership Team to help guide and strengthen the overarching strategy of the agency.
    • Lead potential planning sessions.
    • Continue growing the Strategy & Insights service offerings and department team.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or beyond.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a brand and marketing strategist ideally in an agency setting, but we will also consider strong client-side or consulting experience, as well.
  • Should be an excellent creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Demonstrated skill in gaining credibility with and respect of high-performing leaders within and outside the organization.
  • Experience on a management or leadership team.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data,  identify themes and develop customizable approaches to address customer and organizational needs.
  • Strong collaborative spirit but the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written client communication skills and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to prepare well-structured, clear concise client-ready presentations and deliverables.
  • Ability to pass a company background check.
