Armed with a new website and brand identity, the SPCA team now has everything it needs to keep providing for the homeless pets and owners of Northern Nevada.
Donating the Purrfect Brand and Website
We selected the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Northern Nevada to receive the Noble Deeds grant for pro bono digital marketing services. The result is an award-winning site redesign that’s gained national recognition.
Building the Bridge Between Humans and Homeless Pets
SPCA-NN recognized that Northern Nevada’s growing population would require increased pet needs. However, as a nonprofit, the group relies heavily on donations to stay afloat. We stepped in as part of our annual Noble Deeds program, leveraging our full palette of creative digital performance marketing services to deliver a rebranded and redesigned website to connect homeless pets with loving owners.

An Improved User Experience When Searching for Pets
SPCA-NN’s old site barked with opportunities for improvement in terms of overall design and general navigation. By reworking the look and feel of the site, we helped SPCA properly display images to better attract potential pet owners with their future furry friends.
When users first land on the new site, they are immediately connected to homeless pets through the pet cinemagraphs that greet them. This element of the site tied the brand strategy we developed into one cohesive, interactive online experience.
A Clarified Brand and Purpose Statement
From the get-go, SPCA-NN made clear it is often mistaken for the Nevada Humane Society, indicating the need for a stronger brand.
While people may have been generally aware of the SPCA-NN’s mission as an adoption center, there wasn’t a brand differentiator that captured who it is as a regional organization. It needed a unique and distinct brand that could stand alone and stand out.
After a thorough process of establishing the new brand and pinpointing the organization’s goals, we helped transform its passion into purpose:
To connect humans and animals to bring joy, love and compassion to the local community.
A Visual Refresh with Impact
SPCA-NN’s previous logo was ready for a transformation. The logo featured a subtle call to animals with a single dog paw, and included their former tagline, “Rescue, Adopt, For Life.” We knew a new logo and visual identity would stem from the new brand identity.
Building a Better Future for the Brand
To help SPCA-NN stand out from other regional branches of the SPCA, Noble Studios designed a new logo using a single stroke line that connects homeless pets with loving families, underlining SPCA-NN’s close connection with the community and the impact it has on both owners and animals. With the new brand platform and logo, we designed a brand book of visual and messaging guidelines SPCA-NN could refer back to in the future.
A Visual Transformation
To best communicate the organization’s mission and connect people with homeless pets, Noble Studios provided new photography and video, transforming the site into a sleek, modern and engaging experience.
