Jay Alfredo

Performance Marketing Manager

Jay Alfredo taught kickboxing for a living and cannot kickbox. He’ll tell you before you ask. The gym hired him for staying in shape and holding a room, roughly the pitch he makes now as Performance Marketing Manager at Noble Studios.

He grew up in Charlotte and played defensive end at East Carolina, where he ran three weekly shows at the campus radio station, including afternoon drive hip-hop. An apprenticeship in Austin moved him from the mic to search. In the decade since, clients handed him the work nobody volunteers for, site migrations and faceted navigation and international targeting. Gaming hardware, enterprise software, SMB, B2B SaaS, he did search across all of it. What carried from job to job was frameworks that survived the handoff.

Mountains had always pulled at him. In 2019 he Googled “mountain towns,” found Bend and moved sight unseen. His fly fishing record now sits at 22 rainbow trout in a day, up from the early trips when he made his partner unhook every fish because he wouldn’t touch the slime. He taught himself ukulele and plays hip-hop covers, which lands him back at the campus radio station, spinning other people’s songs for whoever’s around. Ask him for “Runaway.”
