Kurt Gorecki

UI/UX Designer Kurt Gorecki may have an impressive resume and ample experience, but he doesn’t let that cloud his desire to seek more knowledge and inspiration every day. (See why he fits in so well here?!)

Kurt likes to think big, which comes in handy when providing both practical and ground-breaking solutions for his clients and colleagues. An eternal problem-solver, he likes to think beyond the job description, project scope and status quo to find answers and build experiences for clients like Reno Tahoe Airport Authority, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, Addepar, Wellborn, Springhub, Visit SLO and more. Whether designing, concepting, animating or editing, you can usually find Kurt thinking outside of the box.

He gained his formal training at College for Creative Studies in his home state of Michigan, finishing with a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design, photography and advertising. His education left him with a strong work ethic and the ability to think deeper than the deliverable, which serves him well in the agency environment.

He truly leaned into the advertising world, starting his professional career at 17. As a digital designer, he has led more than 80 website development projects, worked on over 150. In addition, he has 15 award-winning national campaigns under his belt. Kurt’s versatile experience also puts him behind the camera, and he has developed an impressive portfolio as a videographer, photographer and even aerial cinematographer. His work’s not finished there, he also edits his reels, writes his scripts and is an accomplished motion designer – touching on everything from 3D modeling, texturing and motion graphics.

Kurt’s polished vision may have something to do with his photographic memory because he never forgets a face. When he’s not elbow-deep in his design projects, he loves traveling with his wife, Angela, and exploring with his Rottweiler, Bourbon. An eternal Midwesterner, he never misses a hockey game if he can help it, especially when the Las Vegas Golden Knights are playing. He also loves comedy and striking up a conversation with any willing participant. So if you ever get the opportunity to chat with him, ask him for a good joke.
