Some people escape Michigan’s Upper Peninsula brutal winters by perfecting their soup recipes or buying a calendar of tropical locales. Noble Studios’ Senior Paid Media Manager Sydnie Mickelson escaped winter by packing up her car, driving 32 hours solo to Phoenix and never looking back.
Sydnie grew up in Detour Village, Michigan, population under 400, and took that small-town curiosity to Northern Michigan University, where she earned a degree in sociology. That instinct for understanding people turned out to be the perfect foundation for paid media, and nearly a decade of agency experience built the rest. She’s a full-funnel performance marketer who brings genuine behavioral insight to every campaign, as comfortable developing paid social strategy from scratch as she is optimizing a mature PPC program. Fifty-seven certifications and counting keep her sharp.
Still based in Phoenix, Sydnie shares her home with two cats, George and Kovu, named for a Lion King villain. When she’s not wrangling them, she’s on the golf course at dawn chasing that clean eight-iron feeling. Off the course, she can recite the alphabet backward faster than anyone you’ll ever meet.
