Matt Funk

Matt Funk brings a wealth of data-driven insights and a flare for interactive storytelling to Noble Studios as a Senior Performance Marketing Analysts. A self-proclaimed “Duke of Data,” Matt dedicates himself to mapping funnels, mining data and leveraging this information to inspire cutting-edge digital strategies for Noble’s clients.

Originally from the San Fernando Valley, his varied career has taken him from tutoring AP English and History students to being an editor at Arbonne and into the digital marketing space. Matt started as a social media manager, where he quickly honed his skills in SEO, SEM, web, analytics and email marketing. His career trajectory led him through various roles, eventually overseeing the innovation, execution and development of a 26-person Digital Products team. 

At Noble, Matt plays a crucial role in revealing what’s working, identifying areas for improvement and illustrating how these insights translate into tangible value for clients. His ability to see the bigger picture and integrate individual channel tactics into cohesive omnichannel strategies sets him apart as a leader in digital marketing. 

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from USC, as well as a master’s degree in Professional Writing with a focus on fictional and technical writing. He has written numerous manuscripts, covering subjects ranging from post-Katrina New Orleans to World War II. 

When he’s not diving deep into data, Matt channels his creativity into publishing games and tabletop gaming materials. He designs adventures that not only entertain but also educate players about literature and culture. Matt also has an adventurous side — just ask him about the time he swam with sharks in open water. He loves to hike and is looking to summit Mount Whitney in the coming years.
