Christie Johansen-Pinney, Noble’s Vice President of Client Experience, grew up in Anchorage, where it’s no surprise to have kids end up on the ice early. She took to the skates and eventually competed nationally in synchronized figure skating. It’s a sport built on timing, where one skater a half-second off takes everyone down. Client teams are no different.
She headed south to the University of Oregon for pre-med, until a junior-year journalism class rerouted her into advertising. Fifteen years later, she’s coordinated a global product launch across 42 markets and been hand-picked by a CEO to take over a $15M European contract. That one meant building a regional team from zero across three cities on two continents, twelve people who had to move as one.
Christie settled in Seattle and hasn’t left, mostly because the mountains and the water are both close. Her summers are spent on the boat with her husband and daughter, and her winters at the family cabin chasing whatever ski days they can get. In between, you’ll find her serenading her daughter with 90s R&B bangers and planning the next trip. Her favorite place on earth is a three-way tie between Whistler, Finale Ligure and Gubbio.
