Whether fly fishing California’s rivers or skiing knee-deep powder in Lake Tahoe, Operations Director Erik Newland loves getting his adrenaline pumping. And nothing gives Erik more of a thrill than leading a full-spectrum project that results in enhanced digital marketing experiences for our clients and their target audiences.

Erik is a project management expert, and he showcases his talents in everything he does at Noble Studios—from leading the web development and technical execution of marketing campaigns to supporting and coaching the Noble team on each project, ensuring everyone has the tools they need to provide the most impactful services for clients. Erik also streamlines communication to ensure the quality of projects. He continuously works his magic to make certain clients’ needs and goals are balanced with the teams’ capacity to deliver results on schedule.

Born and bred on the ski slopes, Erik grew up in the small, mountain town of Truckee, Calif. He graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in history and political science before earning his masters in public administration from the University of Southern California.

Before coming to Noble Studios, Erik worked in Washington DC, where he rolled up his sleeves to make a difference through various campaigns and issue advocacy groups. It’s his determination to create change that makes him such a great fit at Noble Studios—a company comprised of change-makers and do-gooders. Erik has also worked as a manager at a technology consulting firm that specializes in critical systems for the state of California.

Erik is a fourth-generation Tahoe native (a proverbial unicorn!) who knows the Sierra like the back of his hand. And when he’s not spearheading projects and chasing ever better bolder results, he’s reveling in everything there is to do in the great outdoors. So whether you’re looking for someone to belay you to the top of a peak or lead you through the hills and valleys of creative digital performance marketing, Erik is your guy.
