Senior Project Manager Gabe Somoza honestly has his work cut out for him— supporting the Project Management Team and keeping his POD at Noble organized and on point are no easy tasks. Day-to-day, you’ll find Gabe keeping tabs on client requests, creating tasks, setting meetings, taking notes and communicating with partners to ensure his ‘PODsquad’ (as he lovingly calls it) is not only meeting the needs of each of their clients but diving deeper to identify ways on how to make them even better than they were yesterday.
Born in Venezuela, Gabe moved to the U.S. when he was seven years old, spending his childhood in Susanville, California, before moving to Reno to pursue a degree in marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Gabe always knew he would work for an agency at some point. His past employment focused heavily on client-facing roles—like working as a reservationist for a local limousine company and as an event coordinator for a financial coaching company— but after a while, he decided it was time to do his research on local agencies. Enter: Noble Studios.
From his first impression, Gabe felt he was dealing with the top agency in Reno (we’re honored!) and was quickly drawn to our culture and attitude. He even had a dream during his hiring process that he was offered the job, long before he actually received an offer. At the time he was really disappointed it was just a dream, but little did he know we were already gunning for him. Maybe he’s clairvoyant?
Gabe is most excited about working with clients in the tourism industry, as travel is one of his passions (Us, too, Bud. Us, too.). His last big trip was a solo adventure to Iceland, with no solid plans or itinerary once he got there, and one he can’t recommend enough.
When Gabe’s not ensuring the POD and our clients are growing in the same direction, he’s probably playing ultimate frisbee—not to be confused with frisbee golf. If he’s not playing the field (no pun intended), he’s solving Rubik’s cubes or trying to teach us how to juggle. We think this guy is so funny he should have his own standup special, we’re working on convincing him of it, too.
