Devon Blunden

Of course, Senior Brand Writer Devon Blunden’s story has a literary beginning. He’s named after  Devonshire, England, the county where his grandfather was born above a pub once frequented by Charles Dickens. Maybe that explains his instinct for character, story, adventure and travel. 

Raised in Northern California by a travel agent mom, he grew up tracing highways on maps and measuring summer in miles. By the time most kids were building treehouses, Devon was checking off destinations explored.

After earning a degree in Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara, he followed his curiosity across the world through 24 countries (so far). What started as a seasonal job guiding international travelers across America turned into four years of living on the road and exploring 49 states and six Canadian provinces. That same sense of discovery eventually led him into marketing, where he’s spent more than a decade helping agencies and Travel Nevada, tell stories that connect people to place.

Now, as Senior Brand Writer at Noble Studios, Devon turns curiosity into craft by melding cultural understanding, data, and creative instinct to help brands sound as good as they look.

Off the clock, you’ll find him truck-camping with his wife, enjoying a hot soak (in the backcountry or his garage tub) or hanging out with the true rulers of the household: his cats, Milo and Henry.
