2021, You’ve Been Something Else

Thank you, 2021! It was quite a year, for sure, for Noble Studios. And, tbh, it was way better than the one before. And we sure are grateful for that. 

Let’s relive some of the highlights of the past year, and revisit why we’re so thankful for 2021. 

Thank You for the New Faces!

What makes this journey amazing is all of the amazing people we share it with. 2021 brought 26 new faces to the Noble Studios team, each of whom is a wild bear leading with good intent, making meaningful connections, showing ownership and demonstrating what it means to be empowerful. 

We are thankful to welcome more than a dozen new clients like Visit Morgan Hill, The Elko Convention & Visitors Authority , vArmour and Envestnet to the agency and greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue to work with and grow with our dozens of other clients.

Our team grew not just on the website, but in the home, too. Meg welcomed twin baby boys, Benat and Leo, while Erin introduced us to August Dean. 

Others embraced cute faces of their own, but of the furry variety. Here’s a quick list of the sweet, sweet animals that found their forever home with us:

So Glad We Were Better Every Day, Together!

If that cruel 2020 forced us to reimagine how we work together, you allowed us the space to excel in a new hybrid environment. 

In June, each of our offices got together to see each other for the first time in more than a year, and in many cases, to see each other for the first time in person. Each of these events had all of the excitement of a family reunion crossed with the anticipation of the first day of school, particularly since all of our offices officially reopened a few days later.

When the doors opened for our team in July, things looked different for our Las Vegas and Bristol, UK teams. The Las Vegas team was welcomed by a stunning new mural by Caitlyn Saville, while the Bristol, UK team found themselves in new digs a short distance away from their old office. 

2021, we’re thankful for giving us even more ways to connect with each other and the community. Cecilia Gorman helped us grow our skills as a team with four all hands on deck training sessions. Jay Prior taught us about diversity and inclusion in two training sessions. JOIN Inc, our 2021 Noble Deeds recipient, welcomed a new website that will help empower their users to find new  careers.

Being better every day also meant taking time to be with our friends and family and away from our screens. We observed Earth Day and Nevada Day. And of course, who could forget our Holiday Party. For some, that might be a more fuzzy memory. 

We Sure Shared a Lot of Knowledge (and Jokes)

This year, the Noble team had a lot to say. Of course, there are the 33 new blog posts about everything from third party cookies disappearing to sales enablement to the unlikely QR code that has risen from the ashes of tech trends. 

But not all of our most remarkable words were published on our blog. Throughout the year, weird things come out of our mouths in meetings, emails or just in regular conversation. Most of the time these words have never been strung together in this order before. Here are our top five “Say what?” quotes of the year:

Thank You for the Hardware!

By the time the third quarter rolled around, we had to reinforce the shelves of the trophy room to hold our latest 35 awards. This year we took home prizes in multiple competitions including thirteen AAF ADDY awards, seven 2021 Communicator Awards, and four w3 2021 awards. 

Thank You for the Inspiration!

All of that award-winning work begins with our “Be Empowerful” mindset, which leads to finding ways to innovate and add value in the digital marketing world. 

Two ideas that escaped our brains and transformed into concrete products were our Travel Tracker and our original research on traveler sentiment. The Travel Tracker, helps DMOs track stakeholder conversions, while our travel trends research – completed with our research partner– S2 Research, looked at the ways that COVID-19 affected travel planning and visitation.

Seriously. 

After the last two years, we’ve learned to keep our knees bent, ready for whatever comes next because we’re a bunch of mother-funning change huggers. 

We’re looking forward to many more memories with our fantastic clients, our incredible team, our supportive community, and of course, the new faces that come into our lives.
