Noble’s ‘We Culture’ Celebrated with Top NCET Honors

July 27, 2021

noble studios lets be better every day

Noble Studios is usually in a celebratory mood when July rolls around. After all, we were founded in July 2003, so each summer we celebrate all the things that make our work, our culture and our people so special. (Happy 18th birthday to us, right?)

We found an even bigger reason to celebrate on July 15 when our agency took home NCET awards for Creative Services Organization of the Year as well as the Technical Services Rising Star for Web Developer Willis Allstead.

Each year, the NCET Technology Showcase and Awards Gala recognizes “Northern Nevada individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of the technology community,” according to the organization. This year’s event was held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center’s Mount Rose Ballroom, marking a return to in-person awards galas after going virtual in 2020.

Creative Services Organization of the Year

Flanked by 13 members of the Noble crew, CCO and Partner B.C. LeDoux accepted the Creative Services Organization of the Year award on behalf of the agency.

“Noble is a ‘we’ culture, so it wouldn’t make sense for me to get up here and accept this by myself,” B.C. said. “Everybody on this stage and the 50-something people who aren’t here tonight did everything to win this award.”

He credited our collaborative approach to creative work, which was particularly vital to clients during the pandemic.

“Over the last year and a half, we worked our asses off to help our clients survive a really weird time. Lots of long days and stressful days, so it means a lot.”

He also thanked all the other “amazing” creative agencies in Northern Nevada because, “they continue to challenge us and they raise the bar. We appreciate that.”

NCET Rising Star: Willis Allstead

Web Developer Willis Allstead was tapped as NCET’s Technical Services Rising Star for 2021. The award is presented to an engineer, technician, program manager, designer or project manager who is active in Northern Nevada’s technology community, and who has demonstrated leadership and innovation in his or her field, according to Dave Archer, President and CEO of NCET.

“I’m so grateful to be able to work with coworkers who inspire me to be better every day,” Willis said. “I’ve learned so much in the time I’ve been at Noble, and I feel lucky to be able to work on the stunning websites we’ve created together.”

Previously, he studied Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has been with the company since 2018.

Past Rising Star winners have included numerous Noble Studios employees, including Christine Harcinske, Somer Athari and Danielle Christensen.
